Favorite Labor Day Sale Items

Monday is Labor day here in the US and in our typical capitalistic society that means we have sales all weekend and sometimes all week long. I’ve done a round up of some of my favorite items, but before you look at them I want to give you a few tips or rules to keep in mind while shopping.

  1. Have a plan. Whether that is to create a nice vignette or to find a piece of furniture to hide your clutter. Have a plan as to what you need to make that happen.

  2. Look around your house and make sure you don’t already have one or 5 of the item you have in your cart.

  3. Measure and make sure it fits.

  4. Make sure you have a place for that item or piece of furniture.

  5. If you are replacing something then get rid of the thing or things that you no longer like.

  6. Make sure it’s something you really love.

Now that I got that out of the way here are some really beautiful things I’ve been eyeing up. Some of these might be helpful for the upcoming holiday season such as those brass napkin rings.

On a side note, I’m a little surprised to see things made of bone again. I thought that was out of style due to the impacts of obtaining bone. I try to stay away from anything made of bone because I’m not sure how the bone was obtained.
